Profile

KnowSolve Consulting Limited (KSCL) is a company registered in the year November 2016 by a team of development experts.  KSCL targets to bridge the gaps in organisational capacity development for organisations operating within Africa but with international reach. The experiences of the directors span cumulative over 40 years of excellent service in various capacities and sectors including health, economics, development, humanitarian support and a cross-cutting project management among others.
KnowSolve Consulting has expertise in the following areas: project evaluation and assessments; capacity building; documentation; publications; organizational development; strategic planning; institutional risk assessment; health systems strengthening; proposal development; community health; community managed disaster risk reductions; and climate change and adaptation.
Under knowledge management and communication, technical writing, reviews and editing including information synthesis and applications; development and implementation of organization, and project communication strategies; strategic project advisory; donor reporting; documentation of case stories, success stories, and project lessons organizational learning through innovative approaches; organizational capacity development, and establishment of knowledge management systems and frameworks.

Joyce Wangui Kinaro, PhD

Technical Team Lead
Dr. Joyce Kinaro has worked as a “National Professional Project Personnel (NPPP)” with, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) at the Urban Slums Development Project of the Nairobi City County; “Senior Program Officer” with, Planned Parenthood Federation of America/Africa Region Office (PPFA/ARO) in eight countries in Africa that include Somaliland and Sudan and; “Assistant Director, Monitoring, Evaluation and Research, IntraHealth International Kenya (Human Resources for Health Project)”. In addition, I have participated in developing national health sector strategy documents and results based frameworks. Qualifications include: PhD in Population Studies, Research Institute at the University of Nairobi, Master’s Degree in Population Studies from University of Nairobi, Masters Degree in Public Health from Boston University (USA). Has experience in teaching, training professionals, management and working in the community on health and environment activities.

Dr. Linet Nyapada is a Health systems strengthening specialist with a PhD in health policy and systems management and Master in community health and development. An accomplished technical programmer in Health Policy and Systems analysis, development and management, with good leadership qualities enhanced with team approach to relating with colleagues, partners and stakeholders. Remarkable track record of over 15 years’ experience in healthcare programming, health policy analysis and health systems strengthening. This experience includes management, technical advisory, strategy design, monitoring and evaluation, consultancy and operational coordination roles. Accustomed to working with Public sector, Government agencies, donor agencies, private sector, institutions of higher learning, research institutions and NGO in both mainstream national and sub national health systems including community health systems.

Team Lead Learning & Knowledge Management
Wycliffe has over 10 years of experience in knowledge management, communications for development, health education and behaviour change communication as well as media initiatives. He is skilled in developing knowledge synthesis and presentations, audience-based communication strategies, and knowledge driven corporate and organizational functions that target cohesion, efficacy, efficiency, and results. Wycliffe holds a Master's degree in Communication Studies and is an accredited Knowledge Management consultant.

While some health facilities are abuzz with health workers attending to patients at every corner, the dispensary in rural Kitui, Kenya, has only one health worker. She provides the only source of health care to a community of over 6,000 people.
